TEAM ARITRA

DEPARTMENT OF OCEAN ENGINEERING

Robo-Boat

Robo-Boat is an international student competition held in Florida’s Nathan Benderson Park wherein teams from around the globe design autonomous, robotic boats to navigate through a challenge course and exhibit their skill sets.

Department of Ocean Engineering

One of the most predominant centers for marine autonomy and engineering in India. The backbone of Team Aritra that has supported the team through out.We are guided by prof:

Dr. Abhilash Sharma Somayajula.

Team Aritra

A team found in 2022 consisting of about 30 dedicated and enthusiastic engineers all coming from the department of ocean engineering with the same aspiration to compete and earn the first position in the Robo-Boat competition.

Meet the Team

MECHANICAL VERTICAL

We are the soul behind the mechanics that go behind the _________________________(#Boat name).
We undertake tasks ranging from hull fabrication and optimization to building the mechanics for the tasks and do it to perfection.

ELECTRICAL VERTICAL

We are the electrical hearts of the team.
We design the IP box, cooling system, power management and distribution and synchronize together the working of the different electrical components.

SOFTWARE VERTICAL

This team puts together the might of modern computer technology into marine autonomy application.
Object detection and avoidance, surface exploration and path decision is our primary domain.

MEET THE TEAM

Welcome to the autonomous boat team! We are a group of skilled and dedicated individuals who are working together to develop and build autonomous boat. Our team consists of experts in electrical, mechanical , software and spons modules.

SPONS AND BUISNESS VERTICAL

We are entrusted with the task to get sponsors to bring our ideals and thoughts to reality.
We seek for fabrication, raw materials, electronics and travel sponsors in return for exclusive brand visibility on a global stage .

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Our team has been placed 5th in Virtual RobotX out of 30 participating teams. It was a global competition held by Robo-Nation, a virtual one.
